Aged to Perfection - Virtual Birthday

During the initial Shelter in Place in mid 2020, we formed ideas of when things would "reopen" and tried to plan how we would be able to celebrate. Wanting to follow all rules and guidelines set out by Marin County we had to communicate clearly with our client what we COULD and COULD NOT help them plan during these changing times. It was a daily process to continuously check for new updates and try to help educate our clients on what would be safe.

We decided to mask up and meet with clients in the late summer who were discussing having an intimate dinner with 12 friends in their backyard - right around Thanksgiving to celebrate Theo turning 50. We mapped out layout and flow options, back up weather plans and tried to determine what the guest count might look like and how we could set up household based tables, etc.

As we began opening up at the end of August, we started making firmer plans. And then NOPE - back to a Stay @ Home Order set for November! So we do what we do, and SHIFTED the plans to a Virtual Zoom 'Aged to Perfection" Cocktail Party and delivered boxes to close friends and family in the Bay Area. Our client popped her award winning caramel corn and we were on our way!

We designed a digital invitation for our clients to text/email to the guests and then we got busy building the boxes:

• Curated Wine and Cocktail fixings from Ludwigs Fine Wine in San Anselmo
• Fresh Grazing Board from Lilac & Lime
• Festive "Old Man Pills" custom candy favors and markers for Party Bingo Napkins

Each Box was packed with care and labeled for delivery. We think the festivity should start from the minute folks see the box on their porch! We heard that our client's guests loved the boxes and a great time was had by all. Note: we can even help you host the ZOOM call if you need assistance in there area too!

One thing we've truly embraced is flexibility and fluid planning! If we stick with our core values of choosing joy, finding happiness in the little things and NOT letting covid 19 cancel celebrations, we're always in for a good time...good wine + a beautiful grazing box never hurts either!
