Garden Ceremony Perfection

Whether you're looking for a wedding for 100 or 20, The Outdoor Art Club is an amazing option. The venue has several options for a beautiful outdoor garden ceremony and the Clubhouse is a registered historical landmark designed by renowned architect Bernard Maybeck - Marin architecture and landscape at its best.

Located in downtown Mill Valley, the Outdoor Art Club is a private, nonprofit women’s organization founded in 1902. Today, the members continue to advocate for conservation and open space preservation while also supporting the cultural arts and other civic endeavors that enhance the vitality of Mill Valley’s community. They support the clubs maintenance and projects via funding from private event rentals.

The club is a short walk to the quaint downtown village of Mill Valley as well as the Mill Valley Inn.

We love working in partnership with The Outdoor Art Club and have designed and executed many weddings and events in the space and know the ins and outs intimately. The well cared for gardens are picture perfect year round and the closed list of catering vendors allowed to work at the venue, ensures a delicious meal and ease of planning.

Our curated tiny wedding offerings comes from a place of LOVE. With the ceremony being the main focus and just your inner circle by you side, our all inclusive curated intimate ceremonies are perfect for a quick planning timeline or an elopement in Marin.

While tiny, you can still celebrate with a stylish fête! Just because the design is not 100% custom, the environment should be designed and executed with the full scale efforts as a larger format wedding might have been, just with a smaller guest count.

to weddings in 2023? Let us shed some light!

>> Tiny Ceremony <<

Just the couple, the officiant and often a photographer too!

>> Elopement <<

Usually the same format as a Tiny Ceremony, but folks TRAVEL to a destination to create a barrier or space to bring the guest count down, where with a Tiny Ceremony the couple has chosen to be just the two of them. Sometimes a witness or two might be invited to join the couple.

>> Mini or Intimate Wedding <<

The format of a traditional wedding with a ceremony, cocktails, dinner and merriment. This style is often the couple and their immediate family and a few friends, usually with under 40 guests. And if the mini wedding takes place outside of the area where the couple lives, it can be called a destination wedding.

>> Nano Nuptials <<

A subset of the traditional wedding, with the focus on the ceremony, but still designed and executed with the full scale efforts of a larger format wedding, just with a small guest count. The entire event spans 90 minutes and sometime is followed by a private dining experience / dinner at a restaurant.
