We first connected with Steph and Brendan over the phone, as they reside in New York. Initially, they were a bit hesitant to let us take the reins on planning their wedding - they'll be the first to admit that they are both very type A. However, everything changed once they arrived in town for a meeting at the Outdoor Art Club. During our consultation, I shared my design ideas and insights on how to best utilize the venue for their style celebration, which helped them relax and visualize how their dream wedding could come together.

One of the highlights of the wedding day was when they exclaimed, “WOW! You really know what you’re doing. We pushed you on budget, but you made this room look 1,000 times better than we could have ever imagined!” It was incredibly rewarding to hear such praise and to know that we were delivering beyond their expectations.

We feel truly honored to be part of their beautiful love story, which began on their first date in early March 2020—an occasion forever marked by the pandemic. They chose to go into quarantine together, and their relationship blossomed in ways they never anticipated.

The magic of their special day culminated in a first dance that we can confidently say was the best we've ever seen. It was a joyous celebration infused with their love and passion, surrounded by the breathtaking gardens of The Outdoor Art Club. This Marin County destination wedding was not only a reflection of their journey but also a testament to the power of love amidst challenging times.
