southern charm - double brides
Celebrating love in all its forms is a beautiful thing, and what better setting for a wedding than a garden in the late afternoon? Picture this: the gentle golden light filtering through the leaves, creating a romantic ambiance for two brides to exchange their vows surrounded by lush greenery, blooming flowers and all their friends and family!
Our clients wanted to focus the celebration on exactly what was important to them. Good Food, Great Music and LOTS of dancing! So we tossed out any rules of what a wedding is suppose to look like and designed the perfect fête for Vicki + Katie! We packed their crew onto the front patio of the Outdoor Art Club in a combo of the venue's chairs and some rustic wooden benches (as the couple wanted to host 155 guests and only 140 chairs are included in the rental). Following the ceremony we invited guests to join us back behind the Clubhouse in the "ceremony garden" where we served sparkling wine and toasted the newlyweds - WHILE we flipped the front patio into a space to mix and mingle the night away!
As the sun dipped below the horizon, guests were treated to a delightful array of Southern-inspired passed appetizers. From crispy fried green tomatoes to savory shrimp and grits, each bite was a celebration of the rich flavors of the South a nod to Katie's homeland. Craft cocktails flowed freely, with bartenders expertly mixing up refreshing drinks that perfectly complemented the warm late summer evening.
But the real highlight of the evening was when Mustache Harbor took the stage. This fun and lively band brought the party to life with their yacht rock hits, getting everyone on their feet and dancing the night away. The joyful energy was contagious, and as the music filled the air, it was clear that this celebration of love was one for the books.
With the backdrop of a beautiful garden, delicious food, handcrafted cocktails, and live music that set the perfect tone, this wedding was a true reflection of the love and happiness shared between two people. It was a night to remember, filled with laughter, joy, and of course, plenty of dancing. Cheers to the happy couple and to many more years of love and music-filled celebrations ahead!
