Celebrating Los: Backyard Bash to Remember

Our clients wanted to transform their backyard into the ultimate celebration space to toast their long-time friend and his milestone 50th birthday. The yard was adorned with string lights that twinkled, creating a cozy atmosphere. Sexy (and comfortable) lounge furniture set the stage for relaxation and conversation, while a stunning wood bar served as the centerpiece of the festivities.

Food plays a crucial role in any 38north designed gathering. Pork sliders with sweet potato fries, empanadas and taquitos by Chef Ryan Scott we a huge hit! No birthday celebration is complete without a drink or two, and for this special occasion, a whiskey bar was the star attraction. Featuring a selection of fine whiskeys, guests could sample their favorites or discover something new. We had Bartender Tim onsite to help guests make selections with details on origins and flavors of each whiskey, making it a talking point among the guests.

As the sun set, the ambiance shifted seamlessly with the soothing sounds of live guitar music which set a laid-back tone that allowed guests to unwind and enjoy the evening. A photo booth was set up for guests to strike a pose and capture fun memories from the night. For a touch of excitement, casino games were introduced, giving guests the chance to try their luck at blackjack - encouraging friendly competition and laughter among attendees. Prizes were awarded for winners, adding an extra layer of fun to the celebration.

As the night grew cooler, the fire pit became a cozy gathering spot where friends traded stories of years of friendship. Celebrating a 50th birthday should be a momentous occasion, and this backyard party did just that.
